River

See River? He’s bigger than he was a few weeks ago. He came to a dog party we had on Sunday. There we so many dogs we had to count em to make sure nobody got lost. There were NINE dogs at the party! Everybody was grown up except River.

The big dogs chased River but he was so fast I was the only one who could catch him. Pretty soon the older dogs got real tired. This isn’t the best picture but it gives you the idea…..

Everybody had a good time. The three Labradors went home early. River and Wind stayed and played longer. Finally only River and I were playing. Even Tess had enough.

Mom was really happy because we went to bed early and didn’t pester her. The big guy was so tired the next morning he wouldn’t even eat his breakfast. I would have eaten it for him, but mom said no.

You oughta have a dog party once in a while. It’s always fun and sometimes you get a couple of neat pictures. Here’s my favorite picture from the party. It shows Wind looking serious. See ya.
